Karan Sharma Favorite actress? One and only one - Rani Mukherjee. Especially after 'Black', she is right up there in my list. indiaglitz comment: Well let's hope that you and Rani are paired opposite each other one day and we could have a 21st century version of Amitabh Bachchan - Jaya Bhaduri pairing. All the best Karan and hope the movie turns out to be a success. Thank you so much.

A powerhouse of talent, critics and fans all agree that if there’s any actress in the commercial parameters who can do full justice to all those heavy duty emotional scenes, then it’s her. No wonder then that Adnan Sami chose her over all the Bollywood bombshells for the title video of his album Tera Chehra. His reasoning, “I needed someone who could emote, not just have a beautiful face; it’s a very performance-oriented video and only Rani could have done it which she has done excellently.” Performance indeed is Rani’s middle name, the girl shines even in two bit roles in films like Har Dil Jo Pyar Karega (where she was in coma for the better part of the movie) and Chori Chori Chupke Chupke where perky Preity Zinta with an authorbacked role definitely had an edge over her. - adnan sami

hrithik on rani
Rani Mukherji is another natural born performer...
Yeah. It was a pleasure working with her. She is very professional, very friendly and easygoing. She leaves all negativity behind when she comes on the sets. And she's a great friend. Rani and I make a very earthy pair. We don't look unbelievably glamorous on screen. We look like a real couple.

I was just browsing through my sisters magazines and I came across the STARDUST ANNUAL and this is what Subi Samuel (photographer) has 2 say about Rani
RANI MUKHERJEE- 'Live life queen size. Rani is an epitome of vivacity and intelligence. She's a beauty who doesn't ever look surprised, who accepts her position as her due- she reminds me of a prima donna. I've always shared a great camederie with her. Rani has such bright, warm eyes and a mesmerising smile. When we shoot she's full of enthusiasm. She in fact, makes everyone comfortable with her natural ease. In this photograph, I've tried to capture the expression of her eyes. I just love her eyes. They sparkle like diamonds. She might not be a conventional Bollywood heroine, but as they say 'If you can make your weak points your assets, then you will rule the roost forever'. Rani has proved her mettle as an actress and she is truly open to experiments, in her roles in her pictures. I personally feel that in this particular frame Rani is simply marvellous'.

Mama Sharmila is happy for Saif. "I think he is doing well. Hum Tum was the last real hit in Bollywood and there's more to come," she feels. Does she guide Saif in his choice of films. "Not unless he asks me," she says. Daughter Soha too recently made her Bollywod debut. "She will do well. She has a good command over Hindi," says Sharmila. Of the contemporary actors, she is very fond of Aamir Khan, Rani Mukherjee and Konkona Sen. "I like Aamir because he is a perfectionist. Look at his recent cola ad. The way he plays a woman's part is fabulous. He has not reduced it to a caricature," says Sharmila. "Konkona was terrific in Amu and Rani in Black. Rani is the type you can cast in any role," she feels. SOURCE: timesofindia.indiatimes.com/articleshow/msid-1081424, prtpage-1.cms

Rani Ka Gulam
Rani Mukerji has a die-hard fan in John Abraham. So affected was the hunk by the Bengali actress’ histrionics in Black that he unabashedly admits to sniffing into a handkerchief for the better part of the film. “I couldn’t stop crying,” the screen toughie confesses. John is also maha excited that he’s finally getting to act with Rani, in an interesting cameo opposite her in Ravi Chopra’s Babul. “I think she’s the best actress of the current lot,” the hunk gushes. “Though I’m not allowed to reveal anything about my role in Babul at this juncture, I can tell you I’ll get a chance to interact with Rani. Which is something I’m absolutely looking forward to.”
A Bengali beauty and a powerful producer are said to share garam vibes off the movie set they”re currently working on. What’s more, the unit has a field day watching them behave like two professionals on the sets in spite of their off-screen rapport!
